Rebates differ by state
Victoria and New South Wales run different schemes, so the same upgrade can be worth a different amount depending on which side of the border you are on. Victoria uses the Victorian Energy Upgrades programme; New South Wales uses the Energy Savings Scheme and the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme. Solar and battery systems can also attract federal certificates in both states.
